Digital Self Portrait : Welcome

My Experience

I created this portrait as part of my Digital Art course. The class focused on using Adobe tools. This piece was created using Adobe Illustrator and based on a photo taken of myself at Walt Disney World.

I mostly utilized the pen tool for this project. I was able to discover its capability to create complex curves and shapes. Though it was tedious, I am so proud of the result!

Slow and Steady Wins the Race

I was originally frustrated by the amount of time that this portrait was taking, but realized that this extra effort truly made a difference. I also discovered how to be a bit more efficient in my Illustrator work.
