Lausanne Learning Institute

In July of 2016, I spoke at the Lausanne Learning Institute as part of a panel focused on integrating technology into a school curriculum. I was asked to participate with my high school, St. Joseph's Academy, who was receiving the Spotlight School Award that year. 
I presented with our school's technology coordinator, our school's Help Desk manager, and one other student.  The presentation was an hour long talk and was given to a room of education professionals. My role was to talk about how involving technology in a school curriculum affected my learning. We mainly spoke about our experience with technology at school and answered audience questions.
I was so thankful to have this opportunity! We got to attend the other sessions of the conference and explore the city of Memphis in our off time. We got to tour Graceland, and they even brought in an awesome Elvis impersonator for the conference kickoff! As a huge Elvis fan, this was a great perk. I was very humbled to be chosen to speak about my education and technology experience.
