Puerto Rico Technology Service Trip

The summer before I started college, I was given the opportunity to travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico, as part of a technology service trip. As a worker at my high school's technology Help Desk, I was asked to help implement some of our technology knowledge in the classrooms of Colegio Maria Auxiliadora. We modified Wii remotes to turn them into cheap projectors for classrooms and taught the students about 3D printing. We also helped with the summer camp at the school and explored beautiful Puerto Rico. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and helped me to know that I wanted to use technology to help people.
